"Dude, is that a Bamboo Calfee?!"

I was waiting to turn left at the intersection of Occidental and HWY 116 when this guy pulls up beside me in a white Ford Ranger. "Dude, is that a Bamboo Calfee?" he says.
"Why yes."
"Can you pull over so I can check it out?"
"Sure."
For me, a bamboo bike just seems perfectly natural (no pun intended). So when people ask me why I ride a bamboo bike, I'm almost taken aback. Well, why wouldn't I? Given the ecological damage that the mining of steel, titanium, and aluminum have done over the last several decades, I think it's time we looked for more natural options.
