Thanks to everyone who came out this past Sunday to the 3rd annual Tour d'Organics Sebastopol!  We had over 700 registrants, and this was definitely our most successful Tour d'Organics yet.

Hi everyone,
The last two months have been incredibly busy for me.  In addition to organizing the Tour d'Organics, I also opened a bike shop in Sebastopol, CA.  Needless to say, I haven't had much extra time. 

Some of you are probably wondering why you haven't received your membership packet, your newsletter, or your clothing order.  I'm working on it, and I hope to be caught up in the next couple of weeks.

When OrganicAthlete started I could keep up with the administrative tasks, but the organization has grown beyond a one-person operation.  Unfortunately, we still only have one person to help with the daily tasks, and I don't have anymore time to volunteer.

I'm working to increase our operational capacity so that we can provide better service to our members and customers, facilitate chapter formation and growth, and offer more education and outreach.  Given our limited budget, I have to get creative, but the challenge is fun.

The good news is that you can help!  We have a list of volunteer opportunities at our online office.  I'm especially looking for writers and editorial help with our magazine at this time.  You can also make a tax-deductible donation to OrganicAthlete.  We appreciate every penny you can give.
